First the client should make a list of the wants and needs for their particular situation. It is hard to please everyone concerned. At Nord Alta, we like to be involved from the beginning. This means having a Q&A session with the homeowner, before they speak with the kitchen designer. Kitchen designers are very good at what they do, but they can get stuck in a mindset that caters mainly to the masses (new home construction), rather than the individual.
Why is the Q&A Session an important part of a kitchen design important?
The Q&A Session will cover all of the important questions a homeowner will need to consider before starting their kitchen design. The session will cover such questions as, budget, lifestyle, view, flooring, cabinets and more. With the answers to these questions in mind, the homeowner will make more informed choices during the design phase.
