This project involved removing a tub and replacing it with a walk-in tiled shower. Many details in this project were geared towards making the bathroom renovation more accessible and more aging in place friendly.
This high-end bathroom transformation gave the client more accessible options to their storage, as well as a beautiful, custom tiled shower with low barrier entry and a fold-down seat.
Additional storage will allow these homeowners to stay in their house for many years

Completed Project Gallery
- The shower features some very beautiful tile work as well as the fold down phenolic resin bench. The wall tile is 12″x24″ Pearl Almond with 2″x2″ Pearl Camel mosaic accent. The floor tile in the shower is a matching 2″x2″ Pearl Almond mosaic. The client also chose a Grohe Tempesta Cosmopolitan shower rail set with a Grohe shower valve and Concetto Chrome Trim.
- The vanity, with a clear cherry finish, has some really nice features, such as two put out shelf units. One of the complaints about the original vanity was the difficultly in reaching the items stored in the back. These pull out drawers solve that problem easily
- The finished bathroom has to be one of my favorite bathroom projects in recent memory. The colors are warm and the bathroom feels very inviting.
Bathroom Before Shots
- The old bathroom had a standard tub that was not accessible to an aging in place lifestyle. Additional challenges around storage that were address in the renovation.
